2007: THE NEEDLE GREETS ITS 45 MILLIONTH VISITOR.
On May 19, the Space Needle proudly welcomed visitor #45,000,000! The lucky guy was Greg Novoa of San Francisco, California. We greeted him with much fanfare and one pretty amazing prize — a free trip for two to Paris, including a VIP dinner at the Eiffel Tower. The giveaway was part of the Space Needle’s 45th Anniversary celebration. Hmmmmmm. I wonder what we’ll give away in honor of the Needle’s 50th?! Stay tuned!
