This photo was taken in the summer of 1961. You can see the Space Needle under construction behind them. My mother was holding my newborn brother Dan (born June 20, 1961). Our dad is the one wearing shades. Her parents, our grandparents, are standing between them. I'm not in the photo but I'm sure I was nearby (I'm 15 months older than my brother). Everyone has passed away except me and my brother, who will turn 50 on Monday.
