Writer and editor for some of Seattle’s favorite publications (online and off), Knute Berger has been named the Space Needle’s Writer in Residence. In the coming months, he’ll be here interviewing people for a book he’s writing to commemorate the Needle’s 50^th Anniversary.

Knute’s life-long fascination with world's fairs began when he attended Seattle’s Century 21 Exposition in 1962 at the age of 8. That makes him an original Space Needle fan!
